Fixed savings: what happens when it ends

Interest is paid at the end; the money then moves to instant savings unless you choose again.

A 12-month fixed savings account pays 2.85% AER, fixed for the whole term, from €1,000.

  • You can't add money after the first 14 days, or take it out before the end.
  • A month before it ends we write to you with the rates on offer.
  • When it ends, we pay the interest and move everything to instant access savings, unless you've chosen a new fixed term.

You can see when yours ends, and the interest it will pay, in online banking.
