How to spot a scam, and what to do after one

We never ask for your PIN, password or one-time code.

Malshin will never ask for your PIN, your password or a one-time code, by phone, email, text or chat, and never asks you to move money to a "safe account".

Signs of a scam - Pressure to act now, or a threat that your account will close - A link to "check your account" in a text or email - A caller who knows a few things about you and asks for a code

If you think you've been scammed 1. Call 0800 548 3346 straight away, at any hour. 2. Freeze your card if you gave out its details. 3. Change your password in online banking.

The sooner you tell us, the better the chance of getting money back.
