Freeze and unfreeze your card

Stop all new payments on a card in one tap, and undo it any time.

Freezing stops new card payments and cash withdrawals. Direct debits and standing orders from your account still go.

• Freeze: in Cards, or ask Ask Malshin, which can freeze a card for you straight away.
• Unfreeze: only you can unfreeze, in online banking. If the assistant is asked to, it prepares the change for you to confirm.

You can also switch off online payments, contactless or use abroad separately, under the card's settings.
