Close your account
How to close an account and move your money.
You can close an account at any time, for free.
- Move your money out, or tell us where to send it.
- Cancel standing orders, and move direct debits to your new bank.
- Send us a secure message or call 0800 548 3346.
Fixed savings can't be closed before they end. A current account with an overdraft in use needs to be back above zero first.
