Arranged overdrafts
How an overdraft works, what it costs, and what happens if you go over it.
An arranged overdraft lets your current account go below zero, up to a limit we agree with you.
| Plan | Overdraft interest |
|---|---|
| Basic | 14.90% EAR |
| Plus | 12.90% EAR |
| Premium | 9.90% EAR |
Interest is charged only on the amount you use, for the days you use it, and taken on the 20th of each month.
Going over your limit Payments that would take you past your limit are declined. There's no fee for a declined payment. If you're often near your limit, talk to us: we can help you plan.
